USA Leads Junior Pan Pacific Championships After Three Days
The United States continues to dominate the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships, with 19 gold medals and 40 total medals after three days of competition.

The 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships are underway at the UBC Aquatic Centre in Vancouver, Canada. The competition, which features events in the long course meters format, has seen the USA take the lead in the medal standings after three of the four scheduled days.

The USA has been performing strongly, with several notable victories on the third day of competition. In the 200 backstroke event, Audrey Derivaux and Lane Francis led a 1-2 finish for the USA girls, while Davis Jackson and David Sammons achieved a similar result for the boys.
## USA's Strong Showing
Gabi Brito was a standout performer for the USA girls, winning two gold medals on the night. She took the top spot in the 100 fly event and also helped the 4×100 free relay team to a gold medal. Luka Mijatovic had a similar night for the USA boys, winning the 400 free event and contributing to the boys' 4×100 free relay team's victory.
Japan remains in second place on the medal table, with 10 gold medals and 23 total medals. Australia sits in third place, with 15 total medals but only one gold medal. With one day of competition remaining, the USA will look to maintain its lead and secure a strong finish to the championships.
