Head coach Dan Marella has announced the Pepperdine Waves' complete schedule for the 2026-27 women's swimming and diving season. The campaign begins at home in Malibu in October and aims for conference and national championship events next March.

"We're super excited to get the season started, and show what Team One can offer," Marella said. He added that the team is eager to compete against a mix of familiar and new opponents.

Season Opener and Fall Meets

The Waves will launch their season at the Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool with the annual Rodionoff Invitational on October 9 and 10. Both days of the meet start at 10 a.m. Pepperdine stays in Malibu for an 11 a.m. dual meet against San Diego State on October 15.

Select swimmers will then compete at the MPSF Open Water Championships in Long Beach on October 17. The team returns home for a tri-meet against Seattle University and Denver on October 23 and 24.

Split Squads and Postseason Path

In November, the diving and swimming squads will separate for different competitions. Divers head to the University of Southern California for the Trojan Diving Invitational from November 12 to 14. Meanwhile, the swim team hosts a tri-meet against UC Santa Barbara and UC San Diego on November 13.

The fall schedule concludes with the four-day Northwest Collegiate Invite in Boise, hosted by the University of Idaho, from November 19 to 22.

Spring Semester and Championship Calendar

The new year starts with a road trip to San Diego for a tri-meet against Utah Tech and San Diego State on January 8. Pepperdine is back home the next day for a meet with Colorado State and UTRGV. Road duals at the University of San Diego and UCLA follow on January 16 and 23, respectively.

The regular season finishes at home against Azusa Pacific on January 30 for Senior Day. The postseason begins with the MPSF Championships, which will be split by discipline in February. Diving will be in Flagstaff, Arizona, from February 16 to 19, while swimming is in St. George, Utah, from February 17 to 20.

Qualifying athletes can advance to further national events. NCAA Diving Zones are scheduled for March 8-10 in Flagstaff. The National Invitational Championships run from March 11 to 13 in Ocala, Florida. The season culminates with the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas, from March 17 to 20.
