Nike Swim Sponsors College Swimming League's 2026 Season
Nike Swim will be the season-long sponsor for the inaugural College Swimming League season, covering all eight meets from September to November 2026.

Nike Swim has signed on as the season-long sponsor for the inaugural 2026 season of the College Swimming League. The partnership, announced by the league, covers all eight matches from the September 24 opener through the November 6 championship event.
The agreement represents a major early commitment from a leading brand as the new league prepares to launch. College Swimming League CEO Rob Kent called it a significant commitment that raises the standard for the league's operations. He welcomed Phil Hodgson and the Nike Swim team to the CSL in a statement provided to the source.
Sponsorship Scope and Schedule
Nike Swim's branding will be present across the entire competition schedule. The season begins with back-to-back meets at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Illinois. The league then moves to regular-season stops at Stanford, Knoxville, Los Angeles (Walnut), and Athens before concluding with the Wild Card Playoffs and League Championship over two days at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Every match will be broadcast live on ESPN platforms, including ESPN+, SEC Network, and ESPNU. International viewers can watch live for free through DAZN.
League's Foundational Vision
CSL Chief Operating Officer Kyle Sockwell explained the league's rationale. He stated that for as long as he has been involved in swimming, three out of every four years have been overlooked in terms of broadcast and sponsorship attention. Sockwell said the league was built specifically for those under-served periods. He argued that Nike Swim's early sponsorship confirms an existing appetite that just needed a worthwhile property to support.
The sponsorship aligns with Nike Swim's broader strategy of engaging with college athletes. The brand recently launched an affiliate program with college swimmers, creating another connection point for athletes who will compete in the new league.
Phil Hodgson, President of Nike Swim, expressed pride in supporting the venture. He said the league will bring together some of the best swimming talent to compete at the highest level, making it fitting for Nike Swim to share the pool deck.
