The USA Swimming club team, Crawfish Aquatics, has made a significant splash in the swimming world by breaking the National Age Group Record in the 13-14 mixed 200 medley relay.

At the 2026 Louisiana Age Group State Championships, the team consisting of Sadie Allen, Eli Clavier, Liam Myrick, and JJ Rush stopped the clock in 1:54.61, taking down the three-year-old record set by Santa Clara Swim Club's Aiden Zhou, Shareef Elaydi, Isabel Wu, and Alison Su of 1:54.81.

### Relay Splits

The relay splits are difficult to compare due to a touchpad malfunction on the final two legs of the relay. However, the team's performance is still impressive, especially considering the individual achievements of its members.

### Individual Achievements

Crawfish Aquatics dominated the meet, bringing in a combined total of 4087.5 points, more than double the 1652.5 points the 2nd place team Hurricane Swim Club scored.

Breaststroker Eli Clavier had a very strong meet, winning all six of his individual events and setting 8 new lifetime best times. He earned a mention in our Spectrum Aquatics Weekly Wonders of Age Group Swimming for his performance.

Sadie Allen, who swam the backstroke leg, set new personal best times in the 50 free (26.99), 100 free (59.48), 100 back (1:06.91), 50 fly (27.49), and 100 fly (1:03.62). A few weeks later, she raced again at the Speedo Junior National Championships, where she swam 30.40 in the 50 back and 1:02.45 in the 100 fly.

Liam Myrick had a very good meet as well, and he won the 50 fly with the 26.60 mark he swam in the final. He also set personal bests in the 50 free (26.57), 50 back (29.65), 100 back (1:04.81), 200 back (2:26.02), and 100 fly (1:02.12).
